What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores via the browser on the user’s device — a computer, phone or tablet. They are used, among other things, to remember settings, keep users logged in or collect visit statistics.
Which cookies we use
While you browse the website, we do not set any cookies ourselves. We do not use analytics or advertising tools and we do not track user behaviour.
Cookies are set only by WordPress — the system the website runs on — when the person managing the website logs in to the administration panel. They are necessary to maintain that person’s session and do not concern visitors to the website.
The contact form does not use cookies either. We process the data you send in accordance with our privacy policy.
Third-party services
The website does not load resources from external servers — fonts, images and scripts come from our own server. Your browser therefore does not connect to providers such as Google, and your device’s IP address is not passed on to them.
The exception is the maps on the Contact page. The Google map loads only when you click the “Show map” button. From that moment your browser connects to Google’s servers, and Google may store its own cookies on your device in accordance with its privacy policy. Without a click, the map is not loaded.
Links to other websites — e.g. frankowy-kredyt.pl — lead to pages that apply their own cookie rules.
Legal basis
The rules for using cookies are laid down in the Polish Electronic Communications Law Act (Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej). Cookies necessary to provide a service the user is using — such as session cookies in the administration panel — do not require consent.
How to manage cookies
Every browser lets you view and delete stored cookies and block them — for all websites or only for selected ones. The relevant options are usually found in the privacy settings:
- Google Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security,
- Mozilla Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security,
- Microsoft Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions,
- Safari on Mac — Settings → Privacy,
- Safari on iPhone and iPad — Settings → Safari.
Detailed instructions are available in your browser’s help pages. Blocking cookies does not make it harder to use this website.
Changes to the cookie policy
If we start using tools that set cookies, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent.
