The firm was founded by Attorney-at-Law Dawid Karolczyk, who completed his advocate traineeship under the supervision of Attorney-at-Law Piotr Opławski at the Katowice Regional Bar Council.

He gained his professional experience working with respected law firms throughout Poland — including the law office of Katarzyna Witecka in Tarnów, the law office of Roman Wróbel in Poznań, JKS Adwokaci in Kraków, Kancelaria Adwokacka Szczepańscy in Warsaw and Attorney-at-Law Andrzej Wasilewski in Olsztyn — as well as with many law firms in the Silesian Voivodeship.

As a trainee advocate, he took part in many criminal, civil and administrative proceedings, often coordinating them on his own. He successfully stood in for advocates in court and out-of-court negotiations and in administrative law matters, securing highly favourable settlement terms for clients.

A breakthrough in transmission easement prescription cases: the Constitutional Tribunal has ruled and the Supreme Court is preparing a resolution

Owners of land crossed by power lines, gas pipelines or other transmission equipment may gain new ways of asserting their rights. The Constitutional Tribunal’s judgment of 2 December 2025 has called into question the existing practice of acquiring transmission easements by prescription. The expected resolution of the Supreme Court may now be of key importance.
